Almost 20 members of NCLUG descended upon Chantilly, VA, for BrickFair Virginia 2025 during the first weekend of August. One of the largest LEGO conventions in the U.S., we had a great show and all enjoyed showing off their creations to the public and meeting new people from around the world.

Each year, the organizers of the show nominate builds for Brickees, the show’s top recognition for several categories, which are then voted on by displayers at the show to determine the winner. NCLUG members had 8 total nominations!! Great job to all that were nominated!

Cameron Manning – Nominated for Best Mosaic

Ian Brusso – Nominated for Best Space

Richard Harding – Nomintated for Best Battle Scene

Of those 8 nominations, NCLUG took home 5 Brickees! Way to represent, NCLUG!

Matt Zeher – Best Space

Szymon Karwowski – Best Star Wars

Scott Roys – Best Train Car

Duncan Lindbo – Best Mecha

And last but not least, Hoss – Best Lighted MOC!
