We’re excited to invite NCLUG to hold its August monthly meeting at Robrik Foundry, an awesome new STEM location cofounded by our member, Sambhu!

The NCLUG gathering will take place on August 29th, from 1:00–4:00 PM, with an online portion from 3:00–4:00 PM for members who cannot attend in person. The address is: 10761 Park Rd, Suite A, Charlotte, NC 28210 Activities will include:

• A meet-and-greet with Matticus Bricks, LEGO® Masters contestant Niki Loheit, and Brick Engineer Artist Mark Lorah. They will join the meeting from 3:00–4:00 PM and are looking forward to speaking with NCLUG members and participating in a Q&A.

• Our awesome Allen and Ally will also be joining us for a meet-and-greet.

• Special giveaways exclusively for NCLUG members

• A general in-person giveaway featuring several exciting sets, including LEGO® Pokémon™ Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (72153)

• A complimentary LEGO® Brick Draft for NCLUG members attending in person

• Building activities, featured displays, special guests, and time to explore the Brick Market and Robrik Time Wall

What began with Chinmay’s love for the brick has grown into a place where we hope many more children will discover their own creativity. Robrik Foundry is a creative academy in Charlotte, NC where children ages 6-13 discover how imagination becomes invention through engineering, robotics, storytelling and design. We would love for you to stop by, explore the space, and celebrate this special day with us!
